Hi friends, and welcome back to Cowgirl Monday and today’s story The Cowgirl Crew!
Every Saturday, the “Cowgirl Crew” met at the local coffee shop. They’d saunter in wearing shiny cowboy boots, rhinestone hats, and enough fringe to lasso a small herd of cattle.
One day, Marlene announced, “Ladies, the rodeo’s in town! Let’s really show them we’re cowgirls!”
Ten minutes later, they stood by the corral, eyes wide at the sight of actual mud. “Wait,” Tammy said, clutching her latte, “Doesn’t mud… smell?”
When a ranch hand handed them shovels to help muck stalls, Sandra gasped. “Uh, we don’t do manual labor.”
The ranch hand just shook his head. “Honey, if you’re afraid of dirt, you’re not a cowgirl. You’re just a city girl in costume.”
They left in a hurry, careful not to scuff their boots, straight to the boutique for “cowgirl” photo props.

Cowgirl boots on. Work gloves off. Mud? No thank you!
Happy Monday!
xoxo
