Movies I Like Watching Over and Over

There are some movies that when I notice they’re on TV, I’ll forget everything else and watch them. Most of them I’ve seen many times. Or partly seen because many times by the time I notice it’s on TV the movie might already be well under way.

Just for fun, I’m sharing my list here. Maybe it’ll bring back memories for you! Check out the YouTube video I made where I talk some more about these movies I like watching over and over.

This list is in no particular order of how much I like the film:

  1. A League of their Own
  2. Grease – I’ve probably seen it at least 100 times.
  3. Ocean’s 11 – I’m more familiar with the one with George Clooney and Brad Pitt, but I’ll watch the older one with the Rat Pack stars if I see it on the TV listings.
  4. Speed
  5. Point Break – ah man, how can you not love a movie starring Keanu Reeves and Patrick Swayze!
  6. Dirty Dancing
  7. The Perfect Storm
  8. Gone in 60 Seconds
  9. Catch me if you Can
  10. Fast Five – I’ve seen all the Fast and Furious movies, but this one where they steal a safe containing 100 million dollars from a police station in Brazil that belongs to a corrupt businessman is my favorite.
  11. Wild Hogs
  12. RV
  13. Jaws
  14. Secretariat
  15. Wild Hearts Can’t Be Broken
  16. Carrie
  17. Christine
  18. Urban Cowboy – haven’t seen it in years! Come on TV stations – start showing it!
  19. Roman Holiday with Audrey Hepburn and Gregory Peck, though I’ll watch the remake with Catherine Oxenberg and Ed Begley Jr.
  20. Splash
  21. Cliffhanger
  22. The Fugitive
  23. U-571
  24. National Treasure
  25. Con Air
  26. Face Off
  27. Double Jeopardy
  28. Miss Congeniality
Christmas movies

And just because it’s coming up to that time of the year, if I spot these movies on TV during the holidays, I’ll watch them over and over while I can. Short life span on Christmas movies!

  1. Elf
  2. National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation
  3. While you were Sleeping
  4. Serendipity
Your favorites?
