Hi friends, let’s start the week right with Cowgirl Mondays! Yup, it’s a new feature on this blog where we start the week with a cowgirl smile!
I am motivated to give y’all some cowgirl inspiration on Mondays. It might be something funny to make you smile or it might be more thought provoking. And it might feature a photo or maybe just words. It’s just whatever strikes my mood when I come up with the post. I bring this new feature to give you ideas and inspire you.
It is OK to live a life that others don’t understand
Let’s start off with a little something for all us girls who are misunderstood.
It is OK to live a life that others don’t understand.
From an early age people just didn’t understand why I love horses so much.
Oh, it’s just a phase she’ll grow out of.
Ha!
There’s a lot of horsewoman who can relate to hearing that a lot.
Then I retired and became a nomad, saving money wherever I can by housesitting and volunteering. Internationally! Wow! I am travelling the world as cheap as I can and living my best life.
Yet there are many people who don’t understand why I’m a nomad and don’t have the security of a house. Well I’ve been a homeowner and it ain’t all that it’s cracked up to be. A ton of bills, replacing roofs and appliances. Trying to keep the yard looking neat and tidy and pretty for the curb appeal and not to be that slummy house in the neighborhood.
You can have a house and you can live there. I don’t have a house and I can live anywhere!
I live a life of freedom and am having a blast seeing the world.
And I don’t need anyone’s approval to live my life the way I want.
Now let’s ride off into the week together!
