Hi friends, I’m just stopping by with a quick post to let you know that I’ve spotted Fudge and Marriage on sale for 99¢ on Amazon Kindle right now. Today is Sunday, May 25, 2025. I have no way of knowing how long this novel will be on sale. Always double check the price before making a purchase just in case it migrates back to its normal price. I’m trying to be a bit more proactive sharing books I buy on Amazon Kindle when I see they are on sale. This Kindle eBook normally sells for $4.99 or $5,99. I love a deal and books by Nancy Coco are on my watchlist so I snap them up when I see one for cheap.
Unfortunately I’ve never seen any Nancy Coco books for free on Amazon but every now and then one of them goes on sale for $1.99, so .99¢ is an even better deal.
Candy Coated Mysteries
Author Nancy Coco writes the Candy Coated Mysteries featuring amatuer sleuth Allie McMurphy who has inherited the historic McMurphy Hotel and Fudge Shop on Mackinack Island. She keeps stumbling over dead bodies and then has to prove her innocence that she’s not a murderess.
When I was reading the first book in the series I kept thinking Mackinac Island sounds like a really cool place. There are no cars allowed here, except for emergency vehicles. Residents and tourists get around on foot, bike, or horse drawn buggy.
One of the best things about Mackinac Island is all the fudge shops. This is why tourists are called fudgies because that’s what they come to buy. Imagine my surprise when I looked it up and discovered Mackinac Island is a real place!
I wanna be a fudgie! One day I will get to Mackinac Island.
Spoiler alert! Fudge and Marriage suggests that Allie McMurphy might be getting married. Hmm. I wonder. Guess I’ll have to read it to find out. I’m sure glad I got it for 99¢ and so can you!
