I’ve found some free Kindle novels this weekend of September 30, 2022 on Amazon. Yay!

Hey friends. Most of my reading tastes tend to run cozy mysteries, mysteries, and thrillers. If that’s not your thing … sorry:(

Free Kindle books are becoming tougher to come by! Well, not always, just the ones that I’ve already read and recommend. Many authors offer the first book in a series for free to generate reader interest to buy more novels in the series. Works for me! As the writers get more popular and make more sales, they take down the freebies. They might make the first in the series 99¢ or they might have a freebie when a new book is launched. Hopefully you grabbed some of my favorites in previous posts when they were still free!

You don’t need a Kindle to read books for free. For years I did most of my eBook reading on my iPad where I downloaded the Kindle app – free! You can download the Kindle app onto your tablet, Smartphone, or your computer so you too can read for free. Amazon will help you find your way. Under the buy now option, Amazon has a little banner that says “Read on any device.” Click it and follow the instructions on where you’d like to read books.

PRICE CHECK!

Always double check the price before hitting the “buy now” button on Amazon. Some of these novels migrate to their regular price without warning! Right now these kindle novels are free during the weekend of September 30, 2022.

(Disclosure: I’m an Amazon associate and earn a small commission when you click on Amazon links on this site and make a purchase. These Kindle novels are currently free, therefore I won’t receive commission for making these referrals.)

A Sip Before Dying

I received an email from author Gemma Halliday that her cozy mystery, A Sip Before Dying is free on Kindle all weekend. However, I still see the price tag on it. I’m not a wine drinker, but I do enjoy touring the wineries in the Napa and Sonoma Valleys of California. Beautiful country! Emmy inherits her family’s struggling winery and a visitor has a sip of poisoned wine and dies in her wine cellar. Yikes! Remember – free is good. If this novel has a price tag on it, skip it!

The Silent Boy: A Sloane Monroe Spinoff Series

I have not read this mystery novel, but I snapped it up when I saw it was free on Amazon Kindle a couple of weeks ago. I’ve read all of Cheryl Bradshaw’s books in the Sloane Monroe series and this one should be pretty good. A boy witnesses his mother’s murder – and runs!

Deadly Sins: Greed

And speaking of Sloane Monroe, the fourth in that series is also free this weekend. I’ve read this book before, but the title was different. Sorry, I don’t recall much of the plot. Bradshaw is an excellent writer and free is free. Get it while you can!

The Sasha McCandless Series: Volume 1 (Books 1-3)

I’ve gotten hooked on the Sasha McCandless series by Melissa F. Miller after getting the first three books in a free bundle. And guess what? Free right now, so snap it up if you love full length legal thrillers! Sasha works for a large law firm, specializing in corporate litigation, and is on the path to become partner in the first novel. In this series Sasha is trying to figure out why a plane crashed, why a doctor is becoming the POA for senior patients, and in her first foray into criminal defense – who is murdering females lawyers. Loved it so much, I bought the second bundle of novels and read them all too. The price is right at FREE! Download and see if you love Sasha as much as I do.

Wired In

This is the first book in the Paradise Crime series by Toby Neal. The series takes place in Hawaii which is one of the best reasons to read them all. The main character, Sophie, is a computer specialist with the FBI, but she’s come to odds with her bosses. Will she give up the rights to a program she developed or can a private security firm woo her away?

Last Long Ride: A Journey of Adventure, Freedom, and Love Ends Where It All Began

I have no idea if this memoir by Filipe Masette Leite is any good. I just saw the horse on the cover, and well what can I say? I’m definitely one of these people who judges a book by its cover – ha ha! Travelling by horseback from Fairbanks, Alaska to the Calgary Stampede this novel was published to Kindle on September 20, 2022. Ironically my birthday. No reviews yet, so hoping it’s not a dud! And if it is, well we only wasted time, not money.

Free Kindle novels this weekend of September 30, 2022

That’s all I’ve got. If I notice more freebies I’ll edit the post later, but this will get you started on some weekend reading.

I hope some of these free Kindles make it to your reading list. Free Kindle novels weekend of September 30, 2022! All right! Let me know what you think. You can’t beat these weekend prices!
