I’ve found some free Kindle novels this weekend of March 17, 2023 on Amazon. Yay!
Hey friends. Most of my reading tastes tend to run cozy mysteries, mysteries, and thrillers. If that’s not your thing … sorry:(
Free Kindle books are becoming tougher to come by! Well, not always, just the ones that I’ve already read and recommend. Many authors offer the first book in a series for free to generate reader interest to buy more novels in the series. Works for me! As the writers get more popular and make more sales, they take down the freebies. They might make the first in the series 99¢ or they might have a freebie when a new book is launched. Hopefully you grabbed some of my favorites in previous posts when they were still free!
You don’t need a Kindle to read books for free. For years I did most of my eBook reading on my iPad where I downloaded the Kindle app – free! You can download the Kindle app onto your tablet, Smartphone, or your computer so you too can read for free. Amazon will help you find your way. Under the buy now option, Amazon has a little banner that says “Read on any device.” Click it and follow the instructions on where you’d like to read books.

The Grifter’s Daughter – box set of 4 novels
What a deal – four full size novels – free! Dani Silver’s father, Leroy, is the best con artist in the business, and she learned from the best. Mistress of disguise. What an imagination for coming up with capers to pull off. They always seem to go wrong and after some bumbling around, everything turns out even better than planned.

It’s our lucky day! Author Duane Lindsay is very generous. The prequel to The Grifter’s Daughter series is also free! Download them all for 6 full length novels to keep you busy reading.
The Steel Shark
Interesting. After two months, The Steel Shark is still free, and I still haven’t read this book yet. But I have read the first two books in the Joe Tesla series. He lives in a legacy house in the tunnels of the New York subway system. How cool is that? If you don’t like daylight I guess. But it’s an interesting concept. It’s seem agoraphobic Joe has left his comfort zone and is traveling by submarine. Totally worth it when it’s free!
Aloha Alibi
I just downloaded Aloha Alibi a couple of days ago and haven’t read it yet – so download and read at your own risk. Well, how risky can free be? Charlotte flees the mob and hides out in Maui. A businessman is murdered and his company offers a reward to find his killer. And well, Charlotte is broke and can use the cash, so she puts on her amateur sleuth cap. What can I say? I love mysteries and I love Hawaii and I love free things, so I’m giving it a shot.
The Dead Red Mystery Series – box set of 3
Here’s your chance to snap up the first three books in the Lalla Bains Humorous Mystery series. Lalla is a crop duster pilot in California and solves a few murders. And ends up in some very funny predicaments. I’ve read most of the books in the series. You can’t go wrong with the price.
