Hey friends! Happy weekend! I’ve found some free books on Amazon Kindle this weekend that are free. Yay! Most of my reading tastes tend to run cozy mysteries, mysteries, and thrillers. If that’s not your thing … sorry:(
You don’t need a Kindle to read books for free. For years I did most of my eBook reading on my iPad where I downloaded the Kindle app – free! You can download the Kindle app onto your tablet, Smartphone, or your computer so you too can read for free. Amazon will help you find your way. Under the buy now option, Amazon has a little banner that says “Read on any device.” Click it and follow the instructions on where you’d like to read books.
Always double check the price before hitting the “buy now” button on Amazon. Some of these novels migrate to their regular price without warning! Right now these kindle novels are free during the weekend of July 10, 2020.
(Disclosure: I’m an Amazon associate and earn a small commission when you click on Amazon links on this site and make a purchase. These Kindle novels are currently free, therefore I won’t receive commission for making these referrals.)
Author R.P. Dahlke
A Dead Red Cadillac is the first of the Dead Red Mystery Series. Another that I’ve read them all! The first few novels take place in California where Lalla and her dad run a crop dusting business. As the series progresses, they move to Arizona. How can you not love the cover photo of this Kindle novel? Reminds me of the Cadillac Ranch in Texas.
Author M.Z. Kelly
Warning! Hollywood Assassin is a very violent novel. Just about every bad, violent crime that can be committed happens in this book. This is the first of the Hollywood Alphabet series. These are thriller novels. This series follows Hollywood detective Kate as she solves high profile murders. Love the relationships she has with her police dog and her best friends. I wanna be their friends too! I’ve read up to P in the series, Hollywood Prisoner. I was getting ready to buy Hollywood Quest two years ago, maybe two and a half years ago and the author jacked the price up from $3.99 to $5.99. Not bad for the price, because these are very long, very vividly described novels, but there are a lot of good novels out there that I can buy cheaper. Or even better – free!
Author Cheryl Bradshaw
It is so annoying when a book I’ve bought not too long ago goes on Kindle for free! I’ve read all of the Sloane Monroe mystery series, and Gone Daddy Gone is Book #7. This series is best read in order, but certainly you don’t need to do that. If you like this novel, you might want to start over from the beginning.
Sally Berneathy
If you love chocolate as much as I do, you’ll love this delicious novel! Lindsay is making a break from her ex-husband and opens a chocolate bakery. A stalker, poisoned chocolate, a quirky neighbor, and a dead man make this cozy mystery a lot of fun.
Liliana Hart
Being a teacher and a stripper didn’t work out for Addison Holmes, so she’s now going to try being a private investigator. Whiskey Rebellion is the first in the series, I’ve read them all, but the author has ended Addison’s adventures. This novel will keep you laughing at the predicaments Addison gets herself into.

This weekend Book 1 in the Paradise Crime Thrillers is free! If you like Hawaii and like mysteries, this will be an excellent read. Sophie Ang is an FBI agent, specializing in computers, data and hacking. She runs afoul of the agency with a computer program she developed and who should have the rights – her or the agency. She’s involved in a kidnapping, evading her sicko ex-husband, and trying to figure out a mysterious online presence who’s wreaking havoc on criminals. I own the 9 book set of the Paradise Crime Thrillers and am reading Book #8. I still have Book #9 in the set to read, plus I’ve purchased Book #10 and will get around to finishing them soon. Can you tell I’m hooked?! So if you liked book #1, I’ve provided the link for the set above. Current price is around $8, so less than a dollar each for full length novesl is a GREAT deal.
I hope some of these free Kindles make it to your reading list. Let me know what you think. You can’t beat these weekend prices!
