Hi friends! Happy weekend! I’ve found some free Kindle novels this weekend of August 27, 2022 on Amazon. Yay! Most of my reading tastes tend to run cozy mysteries, mysteries, and thrillers. If that’s not your thing … sorry:(

Free Kindle books are becoming tougher to come by! Well, not always, just the ones that I’ve already read and recommend. Many authors offer the first book in a series for free to generate reader interest to buy more novels in the series. Works for me! As the writers get more popular and make more sales, they take down the freebies. They might make the first in the series 99¢ or they might have a freebie when a new book is launched. Hopefully you grabbed some of my favorites in previous posts when they were still free!

You don’t need a Kindle to read books for free. For years I did most of my eBook reading on my iPad where I downloaded the Kindle app – free! You can download the Kindle app onto your tablet, Smartphone, or your computer so you too can read for free. Amazon will help you find your way. Under the buy now option, Amazon has a little banner that says “Read on any device.” Click it and follow the instructions on where you’d like to read books.

PRICE CHECK!

Always double check the price before hitting the “buy now” button on Amazon. Some of these novels migrate to their regular price without warning! Right now these kindle novels are free during the weekend of August 27, 2022.

(Disclosure: I’m an Amazon associate and earn a small commission when you click on Amazon links on this site and make a purchase. These Kindle novels are currently free, therefore I won’t receive commission for making these referrals.)

Poison in Paradise

I have not read Poison in Paradise by Melissa Baldwin yet and can’t rate it. I was happy to spot it free on Amazon Kindle and downloaded it. If you like cruise ships and cozy mysteries, Poison in Paradise might be a good one to snap up for free before it goes back to the regular price.

Josie Marcus Mystery Shopper Volume Two: Books 6-10

I’ve read most of Elaine Viets books in both the Josie Marcus mystery shopper and the Dead End Job Mysteries. I prefer the Dead End because it takes place in Florida and is more fun than the Mystery Shopper series. Where else but a fiction novel can someone work part time as a mystery shopper taking on a job once every week or two and be able to pay rent, buy groceries and raise a daughter. Five full length cozy mystery novels for free? You bet! Snap it up!

The Sasha McCandless Series: Volume 1 (Books 1-3)

I’ve gotten hooked on the Sasha McCandless series by Melissa F. Miller after getting the first three books in a free bundle. And guess what? Free right now, so snap it up if you love full length legal thrillers! Sasha works for a large law firm, specializing in corporate litigation, and is on the path to become partner in the first novel. In this series Sasha is trying to figure out why a plane crashed, why a doctor is becoming the POA for senior patients, and in her first foray into criminal defense – who is murdering females lawyers. Loved it so much, I bought the second bundle of novels and read them all too. The price is right at FREE! Download and see if you love Sasha as much as I do.

Wired In

This is the first book in the Paradise Crime series by Toby Neal. The series takes place in Hawaii which is one of the best reasons to read them all. The main character, Sophie, is a computer specialist with the FBI, but she’s come to odds with her bosses. Will she give up the rights to a program she developed or can a private security firm woo her away?
