Hi friends, and welcome back to another Cowgirl Monday where today’s topic is a cowgirl wrap. Tortilla wraps, that is. Today’s post features recipe ideas using tortilla wraps. A cheap meal using things you might have in your house or fixings you can pick up cheap at the dollar store or grocery store. Think: simple ingredients, big flavour, slightly messy hands, no rules.
To give these wraps a cowgirl slant, they’re rustic, messy, fun, and a little bold! Food with cowgirl personality!
🌵 Cowgirl Peanut Butter & Maple Bean Wrap (yes, really)
Ingredients:
- Tortilla
- Peanut butter OR mashed beans
- Maple syrup (optional but very “cowgirl”)
- Salt
How:
- Mash beans (if using) with salt
- Add a drizzle of maple syrup
- Spread into tortilla
- Roll and eat slightly messy
👉 Sweet + savoury + rustic energy
🌾 Prairie Banana Wrap
Ingredients:
- Banana
- Peanut butter
- Optional drizzle of syrup
👉 Simple, sweet, nostalgic

🔥 “Campfire” Veggie Wrap
Ingredients:
- Cooked frozen vegetables
- Oil or butter if available
- A little dash of BBQ sauce if available
- Salt + pepper
👉 Warm, basic, filling
Worse case scenario if you don’t have a bag of frozen veggies on hand – use a can of mixed vegetables.
🤠Cowgirl Philosophy of Food
No fancy plating. No perfection.
If it:
- fills you up
- uses what you already have
- doesn’t get wasted
👉 It belongs in a wrap.
đź’ˇ Pro Tip
If your wrap keeps opening:
- Warm it slightly in the microwave or a skillet before rolling
- Or press seam-side down for 30 seconds

Happy Cowgirl Monday!
