Hello, and I’m glad you stopped by to read Another Scam Lands in My Inbox: RingCentral Voicemail Edition.
Well, friends, apparently I’ve been missing important phone calls. Or so this scammer wants me to think.
Here’s what landed in my inbox:
NEW VOICE MESSAGE RECEIVED
Time: 9/30/2025 12:33:37 p.m.
Duration: 33 Secs
CLICK TO PLAY VOICEMAIL
And the sender? miriam.munder@comeon.com — yes, “comeon.com.” You can’t make this stuff up.
First off, I’ve never heard of RingCentral, which turns out to be a legitimate company that provides business phone and voicemail services. I don’t use them. I’ve never signed up with them. So why would I be getting voicemails from RingCentral?
🚩 Red flag #1: Wrong sender. A voicemail notification from “Ring Central” should not be coming from somebody at “comeon.com.” Unless maybe she’s inviting me to the casino…
🚩 Red flag #2: That suspicious link. It doesn’t take you to RingCentral. It runs through sendgrid.net — a common tool for bulk email that scammers love to abuse. Clicking could lead to malware, a fake login page, or who knows what. (Spoiler: nothing good.)
🚩 Red flag #3: Vague details. No caller ID. No phone number. Just a mysterious 33-second message you’re dying to hear. Classic bait.
So what did I do?
I deleted it. Without clicking. Without wondering if someone left me sweet nothings in a 33-second voicemail.
Another Scam Lands in My Inbox: RingCentral Voicemail Edition
Well, friends, today’s scammer thinks they’ve outsmarted me.

Let’s get this straight: I don’t use RingCentral, never signed up for this account, and would never expect this company to email me. That’s already a giant 🚩.
💡 Takeaway: If you get an email about an account you’ve never had, treat it like the junk it is. And if you do use a service like RingCentral, don’t click links in random emails. Go directly to their website or app to check your messages.
Another scam bites the dust. On to next month’s adventure!
👉 Nice try, scammers — better luck next spam!
