Free Kindle Novels Weekend of October 18, 2019

Free Kindle Novels Weekend of October 18, 2019

I love getting free things and I’ve spotted some novels that I liked reading that are free right now. I’d like you to get them while you can!

You don’t need a Kindle to read books for free. For years I did most of my eBook reading on my iPad where I downloaded the Kindle app – free! You can download the Kindle app onto your tablet, Smartphone, or your computer so you too can read for free. Amazon will help you find your way. Under the buy now option, Amazon has a little banner that says “Read on any device.” Click it and follow the instructions on where you’d like to read books.

Always double check the price before hitting the “buy now” button on Amazon. Some of these novels migrate to their regular price without warning! Right now these kindle novels are free during the weekend of October 18, 2019.

(Disclosure: I’m an Amazon associate and earn a small commission when you click on Amazon links on this site and make a purchase. These Kindle novels are currently free, therefore I won’t receive commission for making these referrals.)

We’re in luck! Book 1 of the Laurel McKay cozy mysteries is kicking around for free this weekend! If you haven’t picked it up already, grab it now and get ready to laugh! This series takes place in Northern California and recently divorced Laurel has signed up with a matchmaking service. The author has a new book in the series coming out soon, and quite often kick starts sales by offering the first book free.

David Bishop

I did a quick post in September that The Woman by David Bishop is on free. Who knows how long this great deal will last now because it’s been a few weeks!

Linda lives in a small town on the Oregon Coast, and works out of her condo as a day trader. Her best friend doesn’t show up for their lunch date and is later found murdered. She’d left Linda “in case of death” instructions because she was worried Linda might become a target for her killers. Linda doesn’t take the warning too seriously, until she wakes up in the middle of the night and realizes the killer is inside her condo.

Will she escape? Or will he kill her?

Seeing as how The Woman is the first in the Linda Darby series, I think we can all safely figure out that answer!

Cheryl Bradshaw

Every time I notice Cheryl Bradshaw is offering one of the Sloane Monroe books for free, I let you know. This is book 2, where Sloane is trying to track down the serial killer who killed her sister.

Sally Berneathy

If you love chocolate as much as I do, you’ll love this delicious novel! Lindsay is making a break from her ex-husband and opens a chocolate bakery. A stalker, poisoned chocolate, a quirky neighbor, and a dead man make this cozy mystery a lot of fun.

MZ Kelly

Warning! Hollywood Assassin is a very violent novel. Just about every bad, violent crime that can be committed happens in this book. This is the first of the Hollywood Alphabet series. These are thriller novels. This series follows Hollywood detective Kate as she solves high profile murders. Love the relationships she has with her police dog and her best friends. I wanna be their friends too! I’ve read up to P in the series, Hollywood Prisoner. I was getting ready to buy Hollywood Quest two years ago, maybe two and a half years ago and the author jacked the price up from $3.99 to $5.99. Not bad for the price, because these are very long, very vividly described novels, but there are a lot of good novels out there that I can buy cheaper. Or even better – free!

Nick Loper

I haven’t read The Side Hustle yet, but spotted it free on Amazon and downloaded it. It’s a how-to book about turning your side hustle into income. I thought I read a review of this book earlier this year, but maybe it was a similar book. Even if the advice isn’t your thing, you can’t go wrong when the price is currently free!

I hope some of these free Kindles make it to your reading list. Let me know what you think. You can’t beat these weekend prices!
